When you place an order, your payment is held securely in the protected Mbopy flow. Funds are released to the merchant after delivery confirmation using the QR code or secret code in the app. This reduces risk and creates a clear transaction record.
How does delivery work?
Sellers can deliver directly if you are in the same city. For long-distance orders, Mbopy works with approved logistics partners to ensure safe and reliable delivery of your package.
How are sellers verified?
Merchants verify the phone number or email address attached to their Mbopy account. Additional checks may apply as Mbopy expands to new markets or introduces new services.
How do I become a seller?
Simply download the Mbopy app or visit our website, create a seller account, complete the verification process, and set up your storefront. You can start listing products and receiving orders in minutes.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Mbopy supports trusted payment methods available in each market, including local mobile payment providers where supported. The options shown at checkout are the methods currently available for your order.
What can be refunded?
An order may qualify for a refund when it is cancelled before fulfilment, cannot be fulfilled, is not delivered, or arrives materially different or damaged. Report an issue before confirming delivery and review the Refund Policy for the full process.
